Brotherly love
In the last couple of weeks, Joey has become more interested in Owen and is starting to play around with him (when he's willing to take a break from his beloved cars, of course). Here are a couple of cute videos of the boys interacting with each other.
Pay special attention to the last few seconds in this one...it's very sweet.
Here's Joey making Owen laugh out loud.

Happy (and busy) Easter!
We kicked off the weekend on Saturday morning with Easter bunny photos and an egg hunt at a local park.
We were at home on Easter Sunday and the weather finally warmed up enough for the boys to wear their matching outfits.
Joey holding his Easter basket after a mini-egg hunt in our front yard. Note the chocolate around his mouth (M&Ms) and confetti on his shirt (more cascarones)...

Joey's 2-year well check
* Weight: 30 lbs., 3 oz. (75th percentile)
* Height (used to be called "length"): 34" (below 50th percentile)
* Head Circumference: 90th percentile
He got one shot for the Hep A vaccination and this time was probably the worst because he knew exactly what was coming and I could feel his body tensing up as he watched the nurse prepare the needle. But of course he was a trooper and the "crying" lasted approximately 4.3 seconds. The doc said that we can start giving Joey skim milk which is awesome because it means we only have to buy one kind of milk (at least until Owen turns 1) and he also recommended that Joey go for his first dentist visit in the next few months (that should be pleasant). Next well check in one year!

Joey's 2nd birthday bash
I am posting this picture especially for little Camille - your Aunt Stephanie told us that you like reading our blog and that you especially love to see pictures of our dear old Grandma. This is a silly one just for you!

Joey's bedtime prayer
Joey's nightly bedtime routine consists of taking a bath, reading some books, saying a prayer and then singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. The praying part is first the Lord's Prayer and then we run through a list of our whole family (which is a lot of people). I guess Joey's been paying attention because just recently he has started to jump in with names here and there. This video is especially for his Aunt Laura - it is just too cute how he says your name!

4:45a.m. - 6:00a.m. - More nighttime sleep
8:15a.m. - 10:15a.m. - NAP!! (unfortunately I had to wake him up from this nap for an appt.)

3:00p.m. - 4:20p.m. - NAP!!

Next step is to start weaning him off the middle of the night bottle and then our lives will be smooth sailing. This having kids thing is a piece of cake (I'm kidding).
