Joey's nursery is ready to go and now we're just waiting for the big guy to get here! The stripes on the wall turned out much better than expected. The task was much more difficult than it appears on those TV home decorating shows and when Joey grows tired of the stripes, he'll need to move to another room because I refuse to ever paint over them.
We also got all of Joey's bedding in the crib and wish that we could climb in ourselves - it looks really cozy!
And by the way, 2007 is the Year of the Pig on the Chinese Zodiac so we must have the obligatory piggy bank in Joey's room. It's never too early to start a college fund these days!

I love the nursery. I am so impressd that you and Brian painted the stripes.
I wish I had stripes in my room too. Joey's going to be a pig like me, I didn't realize that until I read this.
